I saw this one in the new products section of KOA and I liked the look of it. I already had a similar knife in the Condor Wayfinder. What did I need another bushcraft-type knife for? Nevertheless it nibbled at my brain. I caved and bought it. Weight: 2.23 g (7.9 oz) OAL: 9.75" Blade length: 5" Spine: 4 mm Steel type: 1070 It came very sharp. The couple of other Devil's Edge things I have had come only modestly sharp so I was surprised. I really like the color and the inlay of the grip and it feels nice and solid in the hand. The sheath is pretty no-frills but nicely constructed and I like that it isn't a hanging belt loop. It rides hide and snug against the waist, and can be worn under a coat without much of an imprint. , Okay, that's that. I've got all the knives I could possibly want, so no more. I mean it.

Interesting. I do like what they did with the handle.

I’m tempted but not even going near KoA’s site to check it out. The carry method sounds good. I hate things dangling from my belt, slapping my thigh. And I might add, snagging on brush.

I definitely prefer the functionality of the old KOA site, but the new site still seems better than most others selling the same kind of stuff.

I think you might have misunderstood me when I said “I’m tempted but not even going near KoA’s site to check it out.” I was applying your statement “Okay, that's that. I've got all the knives I could possibly want, so no more” to me. But in my case, I’ll modify it by saying Okay, that's that. I've got all the knives I could possibly want, so no more, until the next time. As I do not need another at this time, I’m avoiding temptation by not doing the ‘just looking thing’. My 5” kukri and kardas are serving me well in that area. As for the new KoA, I find some improvements over the old site although I still prefer the old one. It was their initial customer service that left a sour taste in my mouth. I still haven’t gotten over it.

Browsing KOA is not a good way to save money or resist the temptation to buy yet more dangerous objects.
