Well this is my first sword review so bare with me I am just going to give an initial reaction and overall opinion of the swords quality and characteristics. I may add some cutting information about this sword at a later time, however for now I think I will stick to just the sword.

In my search for a reasonably priced quality sword I came across this sword which really caught my eye mainly for the unique tsuba, I liked the design and found it rather interesting. In the end it came down to this sword and the Cheness Maru, although cheness might have been a little bit higher quality I really liked this sword.
ARRIVAL
I ordered the blade from Swordsofmight.com and had absolutely no trouble the blade arrived 3 days after I ordered it. It came in a nice dragon themed display box, with a maintenance kit, and certificate of authenticity(see picture below)
MUSASHI DEMON KATANA
SPECS
Overall Length: 43"
Blade Length: 29.5"
Handle Length: 11"
Blade Size: 1.25"
Blade HRC: 55
Weight: 2.5 lb
THE BLADE
Comes with Bo-hi
1045 High carbon steal
Has a great look
I believe the hamon is Notare (correct me if I am wrong) most likely not real, but I am not smart enough to tell...
I have swung it around quite a bit, and it feels great and handles well.
GRIP
Real ray skin wrapped
Black cotton cord
1 mekugi
The wrapping is tight and nicely done
Fittings could be a little higher quality, but then again I only payed 160$
My only complaint here is that the habaki is a little loose
Here are some other various pictures:
CONCLUSION
To sum things up; the money payed for this blade was well worth what I got. It came in good condition and looks great. My only complaints are with the loose habaki, and there is a scratch on the saya (not that it comprimises the blade), but doesn't look that great. However I understand that buying a blade the is 160$ is bound to have a few things that aren't quite all there but all in all it is a very decent sword and the unique tsuba make it a good buy in my opinion.
Historical Accuracy: 3/5
Fit and Finish: 4/5
Handling: 4/5
Structural Integrity ?/5
Value for Money: 5/5
Overall 4/5
Well thank you for reading my review. If you have any other questions feel free to ask or send me a PM. Also, if you have any suggestion for my next review or pointers they are definitely welcome. Thanks again :-D
