So I'll start this off by saying I'm a collector, not a martial artist. That means I'm (incompetent at using swords and) all for using modern swords to cut and sparing antiques that can't be replaced. There's just a small dilemma: I don't want to spend too much with a modern as that means less $$$$ for collectingHah, .
We're kindred spirits, then! I do practice, but am not great at it, and I have a few modern katana I like to beat up, and several I just collect because they're pretty.
Thanks for the z-sey review, I've been very curious about them!
Too bad they are now over $1000 I nearly ordered but went with the Sakura as I already got burnt buying another sword that was over $1000aud $800usd and for a $211 customs processing fee on top so the Sakura it was for me now I looked today the Kobuse is over $1100.arghhh maybe I should a bit the bullet but still waiting on my Sakura will post on here once it arrives thanks for the review and congratulations on a most awesome katana …well ✅ if approval from me

As I’ve said I don’t think the rust was your fault at all. Your sword came oiled and with other precautions. Sometimes during a long transit stuff can happen and the post office can leave packages in moist environments.
Some of the swords I’ve shipped to Europe have ended up with rust spots despite my taking precaution.
I’m still very impressed with the swords and appreciate the customer service. People should give Zsey a look since these swords are by far the best that can be had at this price level.
Veerdin: Anybody know anywhedre that has a reasonably priced smallsword (prefferably with scabbard) for sale? The CS one is sold out everywhere I can see except a massively overpriced one on ebay and not even the Depeeka ones seem to be available anywhere.

eastman: I have seen SCA dueling with rapier and rubber chicken, so there is a precedent for parry-poultry

pixelsword: HI all... new here.. I just posted a sword in the Items for Sale forum and see also a Non-professional classified, and am wondering if I posted in the correct place, of if I should post in both for better visibility, or is that even allowed?
