Hmm, I was hoping for a little longer, but not bad.

More than half that length has a sharpened clip point.

Now this is good.

8mm-9mm base steel thickness:

Full flat grind.

Brass guard (Gold plated).

Rosewood grip.

Brass inlay at spine with carving.

Mirror finish.

I am hoping we can turn some heads again.

Finished proposed weight of about 24oz (Perfect) - 28oz

Kinda heavy for its length. I can only compare to a few things I own, and at that weight I've got nine more inches of only slightly narrower blade... Hmm...

Still eager to see how the end result turns out.

Like the unique wave pattern indentations in the blade. With that D-guard and short sword size you can match up against just about anything. Match it up with a small shield decorated to your desires. I bet that guard will make the balance closer to the hand, thus giving more speed in handling to this monster.

Very elegant! I think you definitely made improvements to the blade geometry. My favorite elements are the swirling patterns in the grip and the curved fullers. He executed both perfectly. I really like when you add little touches here and there, especially if they are unseen. The brass plate came out really well too!
