^FYI - working with businesses in IT, I have seen e-mails show up over a week after sent (and others from the same source/server going through on time); and some that showed up with date stamps for days ahead of the actual date received. E-mail is a wonderful thing - but telephone is direct contact (well, when you're not talking to a machine). The only thing more reliable is being there! I hope your sword arrives soon to get you on with your adventures - good luck! /

Some updates:
I took advise to email Weaponedge every other day, and I received an international call from Mr Chouhan last evening, 11.33 pm SG time.
He sounded formal but polite, & told me that numerous emails he sent had bounced & request for alternative email address. Fair enough.
I forwarded 2 other email addresses to him immediately, waited a while, got no acknowledgement & called to check if he got them; he checked, informed me he got it & told me he'll keep in touch. Period.

Update on my part: I received my sword yesterday. Quick delivery, no additional charges except for dutie fees. All is in good order, sword is fine, love this sword! A bit tip heavy (but hey, cavalry sword) but -all in all- handles fine, nice piece of blade! The scabbard is huge, huge drag, a weapon by itself. It's o.k. by me, thought.
Now to sharpen it, get a camera and maybe, one day, a review. Looks like a mean cutter.
Conclusion: a great buy at a great price and, after some initial worries due to communication, I am very pleased with my purchase from WeaponEdge!
I sincerely hope everything will end up well for you too, Larry!

Dear All, It is with great relief that I wish to announce that my 'long-suffering' WeaponEdge saga has finally come to an end - 2 months after I put down the $$ for the orders, & 1 month after my last entry in this thread :-| The 'fruits' of my countless frust, anxieties, sleepless nights, doubts plus numerous International calls finally paid off, and worth the wait & $$$, if you ask me All metal fittings are perfectly finished/polished, all brass surfaces gleaming & all blades coated with a thick layer of grease! All swords arrived in perfect conditions, wrapped in clear plastics 1st, then enclosed in layers of bubble wraps, before being placed inside a stylo-formed shipping cardboard.. I'd like to thank those of you who have given me your advises, words of encouragements & morale support throughtout this episode ...and it's a happy ending, afterall. However, one thing still puzzles me: what took Bhuvnesh so long plus so many deperate international calls to weaponedge in order to have my items shipped to me I don't know.. & I may never know

Hi Larry, as I said was sure they would come through. I assume delay was mainly due to weaponedge being set up for wholesale as opposed to retail, and fairly busy at it. Hopefully you can check out www.weaponedge.com/stromlo in future to avoid hassles and still get great swords! Cheers, Rob

Hopefully you can check out www.weaponedge.com/stromlo in future to avoid hassles and still get great swords! Cheers, Rob Thanks for the heads up, Rob.. I had tried going to the URL, but there are some stray links; for eg. by clicking 'accessories' -> 'Cleaning Rods', it leads me to 'Bristish Swords'; by clicking 'accessories' -> 'Gun Oil Cans', it leads me to 'French Swords'.. Several other links such as 'Damascus Kinves' & 'Gifts ..' are dead... F.y.i., pls.

Hi Larry,
Yes site is nearing completion but many of the non-sword items are not done yet.
Hopefully soon!
Cheers,
Rob
