Pretty nice, if short, combat knife here. I got the short version because I wanted something smaller that wouldn’t get snagged on stuff as easily as a larger on on someone my size, but I was still a bit surprised with how small it is, particularly compared to my seax. Overall though it’s super nice, and the real deal, not a bootleg.

I used to have the tanto version of that knife, gifted it to a friend. They feel a lot nicer than you think they will, I wished I got the larger version though.
What I really needed is one of those giant ones lol. "big brother" I think they're called

Looks good. Basic and functional. All that’s really needed. And the Ka-Bar reputation.

I bought a #1211 when I was in the Army. Since the slide-on leather sheath did not play well with our ALICE gear I got a bit creative. Never bothered to remove the clips since then. I wanted the fancy synthetic sheath but none were available at the time. I see you can find them even on Amazon now, but it feels like my leather sheath has character since I have some history with it.

Since we're doing Ka-Bar show and tell here's my grandfathers that he carried in WW2 and the Korean War. Still razor sharp...

I like Ka-Bar full tang offerings like the Becker BK9. I got that knife, along with some of their Zombie line (Zomstro, Swabbie, Pestilence), as well as the Warthog, whose tang seems robust enough. Ontario has (or in some cases HAD) a crap ton of quality offerings which have pretty tough tangs like Spec Plus line, many full tang (Ranger RD6 & 9), and I picked up a bunch of those over the years.
