Hello! What do you guys think, it’s supposedly late Indus Valley Civilisation. Does it look legit to you?

What makes you think that? What tells you that it is?

I’m not qualified to offer an expert opinion, but I’ll offer my amateur one. 😉
The form looks good, especially the thinness of the edges. Known fakes that I’ve seen tend to be thicker than they should be. But, that patina looks off to me. It’s very and uniformly green. That could be due to lighting or conservator’s wax, but it gives me pause.
I look forward to seeing what others think.

Sharp blades are good to have, if Shire-folk go walking, east, south, far away into dark and danger.

The Museum piece is pretty rough, but that what you'd expect from a weapon from 1500 B.C. The color and the edges are a little rough on this one, but "acceptably so" if you get my drift. Looks nice, but if it's real there should be documentation on where it was found and when and who found it. Without a paper trail you have to assume reproduction.

Keep in mind that even the Met is not sure what these things are and just because it looks like a weapon it may not be a weapon at all. I also concur that the patina looks looks too good to be real. What else do we know about it?

I wouldn't trust any "ancient" bronze objects that I wasn't the excavator of. Fakery of stuff like this is common in many areas. Even some of the stuff in the museums is questionable, and diggers have been known to "find" things to claim bonuses, where that has been a common practice. Any antiquity you can afford, probably isn't either real or legal.
