Love that dagger design. The bowie is nice too.

I think these are all winning designs. You already know I am very fond of the coffin-hilted dagger. It looks like a weapon from a gothic horror film, like a classic Hammer film. The bowie is really shaping up. I was initially underwhelmed by what you put together, if I am honest, but I am now more excited for the bowie than I am for the dagger. All the design elements really sing. I'm also pleased to see a minimalist look from you.

Brother Nate really should design some weapons for fantasy films and series like the new LotR show.

Ooh! Damn, nice! Normally I'm a bigger fan of daggers, but that bowie is beautiful, able to stand it's own against the fantastic dagger design. I'm stoked to see what purna makes of these

Regarding the revision to the old, simple logo. I thought about the front and back cover of a tomb. In tooled leather maybe thick dark red/oxblood leather or just a thick smooth black. What you gonna fill it with? Either way that's a dope idea. I might do that too lol. Steal yer idea

You’re constantly outdoing yourself, Brother Lance. Both designs are most excellent.

You know I'm a Keating fan, so the bowie is heavily leaning towards "winner winner, chicken dinner", and with that clean toothpick next to it should make a fine combo. Wonder what would look cooler (and be more effective), duel wielding matching bowies or a bowie in strong hand and dagger in weak?

Very nice, can't wait to see them finished! ...And do I see a stick-tang version of the Mukade Tanto coming up?

Very nice, can't wait to see them finished! ...And do I see a stick-tang version of the Mukade Tanto coming up? Indeed! I think overall; it will be the better version of the two. It will have the same "payload" at the front but much less weight and hand shock upon hard objects. The solid block of Micarta will still deliver nasty pommel strikes, but not as evil as before. But this is a compromise I am willing to take. Cool!

Another photo. "The Midnight Collection" ? Ahh, I love each one of them. Those bowies, though. Another level...

Now I think I like the bowie better. I flip flop worse than a politician.

Brother Nate sent me a blued version of the Midnight Dance, and the Centipede knife MK.II, with hidden tang and increased distal taper and hollow ground geometry. Both knives are very lightweight (the Midnight Dance weighs only 537g with a 13.5" blade, an the Centipede Mk.II weighs 285g with a 8.8" blade). They both performed extremely well in test cutting against large chunk of flesh, and bottle/carton cutting. I will upload a video review of the two knives soon! Stats (Midnight Dance): Blade length: 13.5" Overall length: 18" weight: 537g (1lb 3oz) point of balance: 3" from the guard distal taper: 6mm at the base 5.5mm at halfway 3.5mm at 2" from the tip 2.8mm at 1" from the tip Base width: 43.6mm Stats (Centipede Mk.II) Blade length: 8.8" Overall length: 14.5" weight: 285 (10oz) point of balance: at the base of the blade distal taper: 6.3mm at the base 4.6mm at halfway 3.1mm at 2" from the tip 2.2mm at 1" from the tip Base width: 34.4mm
