Cool, but I wonder how many people were killed in their beds when a big rock broke off the cliff and smashed a hole in the roof.

Awesome castle, thanks for posting. Needs a tramway crossing the valley, if you get the movie reference.......

Glad everyone enjoyed it. 🙂
As for rocks falling through the roof... I dunno how often that'd happen, but I imagine not that often. There's Native American towns that are built in shallow caves on cliff sides in the SW U.S., so it has been done before in other areas. I guess the rock is probably solid enough that chunks don't come loose and take out the place.

Yeah, that movie entered the world around three decades before I did, haha. Looks pretty cool though, I'll have to put it on my (extensive) to-watch list. Man, the spoken lines in the old movies are just a pure joy to listen to. Clear and sharp, and you can tell that the actors are making an effort to enunciate. I've been watching my way through the Alien series (currently on Alien 2), and even back then the difference is noticable. Nowadays everyone mumbles their lines or speaks quickly, and they don't mess with the audio to make it it more clean. I suppose they're trying to go with a more realistic sound, but it just ends up making the characters impossible to understand half the time.
