I've looked around the forums and can't find anything really on the site. Skallagrim reviews a few of their swords but that's all I can find online. They seem to have a very sexy Han Jian that seems very similar to the Flying Phoenix. Tantalizing

I own 2 of their katana, very well made. The warrior tachi was honestly a bit of steal back when it was under $400. I havent tried their chinese swords. Personally I say go for it, especially while its on sale.

I am very interested in the same Yomikuni Han Jian. I used the contact us method from website and waiting to hear back. I like that you can pick what steel blade they will make. I asked for a complete blade profile and also about the "pommel" construction/Shape of handle. If they reply, I will post the info here.

Santa came in late! So, ordered the blade a week or so before Christmas. Never had a reply to any of my emails or messages... Figured I'd be safe with Paypal if ever that was a problem and 2 weeks ago I get a UPS notice. I thought it was my LKChen sword but I checked with them and they said no so I was like well this much be it and lo and behold! Yomikuni's TaiWei made its way to me Was worth the gamble. I don't have proper room here for testing and such but physical check up seems good. The fittings are OK... the junction to the scabbard is not the greatest, a bit of filing will make it more adequate but I'll wait until the wood gets used to the climate out here. POB is 13cm from the guard. Symmetry of the handguard (haaahaha... hand guard... sure...) Is a little off. Could fix is with a file and fine sanding after if it gets on your nerves There's a small line of visible glue between the handle and pommel if you look closely. Easy to clean up with the tip of an exacto or a thin pick. The scabbard seems well assembled, no visible flaws. Will see how it holds off over the coming weeks but it seems solid and has no cracks or dings. The handle feels solid, so does the wrapping. I don't feel like it will come undone very fast from swinging it around. It does tend to be on the thicker side for those of you who have smaller hands (I'm 6'2). At it's thickest point it's fatter than a katana tsuka. The handle is oval and the thickness widens from the guard down to the 2/3 then tapers down to a circular shape. It was shipped in a sword bag wrapped in a hellish amount of Styrofoam, get your vacuum ready when opening it. Going to have and test it out eventually when I bring it to my school but so far it was well worth the price tag of 290$ shipped. I took the T10 version. I will take better pictures in a nicer setting if anyone is interested. Any specific views you want, ask away!
