Hi all, Well, I have decided to start taking the odd comission for custom sword-mounting. With three projects in progress, and one on the way, it looks like I might be outgrowing the large piece of cardboard that is my "shop": Just thought you guys would get a laugh out of my current setup.

Take solice in the fact that my 'shop' is only three steps more advanced. Well, maybe not really, I have a few handy toys, but it's nothing like BKS thats for sure. haha. My work bench is only 4' x 2', Thats taken up by a pretty big vice too, and I do Everything on that. If it was any bigger I'd just let it get messy and end up with the same space anyway.

Hey slav,
At least you've got a cardboard in your li'l shop. When I customize my kats, I also work on the floor, but I only have newspapers and a li'l rag. LOL!
Though I'm planning to get table soon where I can work on, so I won't to sit on the floor anymore.

Hey Slav, My shop was on the floor for years..and even though Ive now moved to the garage, I still enjoy doing most of my work right on my living room floor!! I've seen your work, it doesn't matter where you do it, it's great stuff!!!

No, it's the reflection of sunlight. And it's an M21-12G.

It's nice. I wish I had gone for the regular serated M21, because I have found that I would have preferred triple-point serration rather than the Veff. but then again, I much prefer the textured G10 scales to smooth aluminum ones. ...maybe I should just buy both and switch out the blades.

Aye, the triple-point is great. I really don't udnerstand why anyone would want the other kind, but that's just me.
My big-ass M16-04Z has the Zytel handles. Not bad. No serrations, but that corner formed by the Americanized-tanto(AKA Chisel-point) pretty much makes up for it. Though I have to take it apart, and bend the lock out a little to make it lock more securely.
My current EDC knife if the M16-13T (originally had a plain M16-13 with the Aluminum handle, but got stolen). I LOVE the Titanium handle. The size is perfect, the blade is great, the serrations are helpful as a sonuvasemprini... Seriously, best knife I've ever purchased.
The Carson flipper is fantastic. I don't know who ANYONE would risk having an illegal switchblade, or even spring-assist(too complicated, KISS...), when the simple Carson flipper is just as fast.
