I'd assume all of them are somewhat waterproof, but you'd have to check though out. Mine is made out of some weird cloth/plastic combination (like maybe 90% plastic) and can hold a sword easily. It should be decent enough but I wouldn't bet on it. If you want to go that route, make sure to ask the person you order from

I recommend a Hard Golf Case with wheels (same as ShooterMike). You will find on ebay for $100. I bought Tripplets large fencing bag for my rapiers, but I'm gona upgrade soon. Swords get banged around too much in the bag and I load it with 4 rapiers, mask, gorgett, gloves, some extra tips, tape some tools for adjustment.... it gets heavy to carry. Get something with wheels.
Search "hard golf case" on ebay.
For my SCA rattan armor I bought a big 4 foot suitcase with wheels.

thanx Ram,the single sword one is the only one thats not too bulky and it looks pretty flimsy. Anything too big acts like a sail and anything too flimsy just gets torn by the wind at 120klm/hr.Then theres the ever present chance of rain( sub tropics here). If what I'm using now gives up I think I'll have go with getting something made. Now if I can just figure out how to carry a yari.........

Everything and more fits into the old Commonwhore wagon mate. Can't think of the amount of times I've crashed in it at the beach after one too many babyshams. I know it sucks the juice but with the 3.8 V6, every other stationwagon I test out just doesn't have the same pick up. It is really only that I have kids that I need such a big car and fits all the endless rubbish( I'm told its necessary stuff) my wife seems to pick up. The engine is just the bonus ! ;D ;D

LOL, last car I owned in 1999 was a Foulcan wagon, an XF 4.1 Yea I could fit a heap in it including a 7ft long table for swap meets, but I sure dont miss the running costs. Rego alone was the cost of a nice mid range chen

Yeah, NSW costs a small fortune to live in.
When we go on driving holidays , I rent a house in the place we are going to stay as staying in hotels can be a nightmare. It also means I can usually take the odd Iaito, Jo, and bokken and train in the backyard/patio area. We have so much baggage on us that noone( including an RBT unit that pulled me on the pacific hwy last year) usually notices what is in the long bag.
If we stay near the coast, I sneak out at night and train on the beach in the dark. It feels mad to smell the salt air and hear an iaito singing into the wind !
Scared the sh*t out of some fishermen once. ;D
