Does anyone have any experience with this vendel guard? Specifically, how hard is it to install? Also, it says 'not drilled or tapped,' which makes me think that there is no hole for the tang to go into the pommel? Is the pommel split into an upper guard and a pommel?
Is that also the case with their Steinvik sword set? Although with that one, it looks like you can use the two guards, then just attach the pommel to the upper guard...

the vendel looks to be 1 piece, better for it to be undrilled so to have a better fit when u do drill a hole for the tang and any rivets it might need, raymond press fittings tend to run very small
