I first suggest trying the "classifieds" section if you wish to make a sale.
Second, judging from the images in your link, use this equation to figure out current worth:
X - 15% = Y Where X is initial cost, and Y is current market value.
If you include the original Tsuka in as-new condition, it would be more like X - 5%.
The work you've done isn't exactly what most are looking for. Your first step would be to specify the wood you carved the core from, and whatever the material is you wrapped it in. Quality photographs of the wrap would help a little.
EDIT: It's hard to tell from the photographs, but the wrapping material looks shiny which indicates a smooth, slick surface. This isn't preferable, and would lead to the Ito slipping. This is HIGHLY detrimental to the use of the sword, and thus bring down the price due to increased workload for the purchaser to bring it to a safely functional state with the applicates of Same, or laquering the Ito.

Fixed/changed the images. The tsuka core is made out of what ever hardwood the Saya is made out of, which is the wood Cheness uses. It was a Shirisaya to start its life, and I converted it from there. Just the Raw blade in Shirisaya cost 200.00 then I changed it from there, with 95 dollars worth of Furniture from China and the Tsuka wrap. Wrap is black cotton, and I wrapped it myself. Instead of rayskin I used a Carbon fiber decal for something different.

If you are very lucky you can get the price of the bare blade minus some depending on how much damage you did to the shirasaya... Perhaps someone will buy the fittings,,, you can put them up for sale... The ito and decal you can write off.... Check out this thread to see the kind of home improvements people pay for.. www.swordforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91636 Keep on tryin... it's fun!!

hmm, well then I would determine it isnt really worth me selling it because all together my custom sword is more expensive than the Tenchi and has the same blade.
