I noticed that many Masons have what they call a Masonic sword. I always assumed this is just ceremonial or something, but I got to wondering, is there a style of fencing used by the Masons, and do they ever practice using their swords?

I don't know of any masonic sword styles other than hanging one on the wall to look at or carrying one on a parade.
Interesting question 🤔

This type of information is only given to those who first make an oath not to divulge it. Any person seeming to publicly divulge such information must therefore necessarily be considered an intentional liar, by either keeping his oath and publicly speaking falsely, or by breaking his prerequisite oath of secrecy. Either way, any divulged information is highly suspect.
fwiw

I don't want anybody to divulge any secrets. I just wondered if it exists.

Believe it, or not. Swords used in freemasonry are for purely ceremonial purposes. I'm not sure why I should bother but those are the facts and the swords are no mystery whatsoever. Yes, I could easily write more than a thousand words on the subject of fraternal swords. Cheers GC

“Either way, any divulged information is highly suspect.” That’s certainly what they want you to believe. a double lmao I've watched enough History Channel to know that a total lack of even the smallest shred of any evidence whatsoever is in fact PROOF POSITIVE of a world-wide conspiracy involving the Government and Aliens. And everybody KNOWS that there isn't a shred of evidence linking Masons to martial arts, therefore....well you can fill in the rest yourself.

I imagine a masonic martial art to look a lot like those "chi masters" who use "telekensis" to push away their "enemies".
And Andi, we all know it's the Albanians, using the Germans as cover.

Masonic Sword vs Katana or Longsword? Noooooooooooo! Yassssssssss Just a tease. I have a couple of siblings in files. Meaning they were not a singular production. Napoleonic era. This one is purtier but the other one has a scabbard. I've older lodge and generally Masonic swords from 18th century wear. These sabres were British yeoman cavalry types but these decorated and named swords were likely just York Rite wear. Cheers GC

Then the homage swords. No doubt this one carried at war before part of a lodge. The Independent United Order of Mechanics founded in 1757 www.iuom.org/I could wish I had saved the whole picture set in 2006 but you get the idea. Cheers GC
