That's badass man. Amazing design as always, and purna always executes it amazingly. You have a good taste in design

Nice looking ax. It reminds me of the ax the ancient Scythians used called a sagaris, although those would have used wooden shafts.

Awesome design ! I'm curious about what materials you chose for the fittings/grip. Would it be usable two-handed too (making it a "hand-and-half axe") ?

I dang I had no idea it was done. That's dope. Looks like the perfect thing to take on hoards of ghouls with for a skilled hunter.

Thanks so much, guys. This was a very experimental piece for us. I really like the completed aesthetic. Of course, not having it in hand yet is that it still has that somewhat unique Euro-Gothic flavor. Many pieces from Nepal, even with Purna, have a "Nepal" aesthetic to them. I mean, you can almost tell that a Nepalese smith made it, one of the local "Khukuri houses" as such. I am talking speaking, specifically, to when they tackle a European style design. I am not saying that's a bad thing, but I prefer an attempt to replicate the style. He said this one came out to about 41oz, so it should be a very nice weight. About 8oz lighter than the A&A example. Yea I know exactly what you mean haha. Surprisingly. My leaf bladed sword, "Danu" is made by BCI forge, as as well as they have made it to my specs, there is something about it that reminds me of a Kukri or a south east Asian style tool, and it's my favourite thing about it. It's one of my swords that feels built to be used

This is really awesome! 41 oz is still pretty heavy for a 1 hand axe, I think, but it's all in how the weight is distributed.

Oh absolutely, I'm kind of surprise it is ONLY 47 oz when we consider it is metal shafted.

At 41oz. (2 1/2lbs) it looks like the weight was really kept down to a reasonable level, at least by historical comparison. Interesting to see how comfy it is if one decides to two hand it.
