Every person I've gotten somewhat friendly with who owned an MG said they are overrated because they are expensive to buy and VERY expensive to feed. They claim the novelty wears off fast.
Yet, when I offer to take one off their hands for cheap, they always decline.

I'll be impressed when I see someone firing an M61 Vulcan mounted to their Hummer That would be an expensive, but practical, alternative to either electric motor or internal combustion engine. I wonder how fast you could get going in neutral. |

I have not seen that movie in years. It is sad that Hollywood blacklisted Charlie Chaplin for allegedly being a communist by the House Un-American Activities Commitee and did not apologize to him until the 1970s. Even though it had been proved that he was not a communist years ago. He was a very funny guy. |

That was from an accident that he had when a .50 BMG single shot rifle blew up. It had almost killed him and might have if he and his dad did not react calmly yet quickly. God blessed him on that day. |

Medicine is amazing. Yes it is. Him and his dad keeping their cool helped a lot too. Medicine has come a long way in the treatment of injuries and illnesses. Thirty years ago, my diagnosis would have pretty much been a death sentence. Nowadays, I have a better chance of surviving. It is not over 50-50, but it is damn sure better than almost none. |
