Cutting water bottles with a Günther langes messer from Landsknecht Emporium. Recorded using my phone's slow motion mode, which actually works rather well when there is enough light. The two last bottles are filled with carbonated water, for an explosive finale

Nice! I like when slow motion is used, but prefer that it's alongside normal speed too. So this was great! I just watched Matt Jensen's review of this sword yesterday. Seems like a pretty nimble and tough blade.

Excellent technique. I plan on getting one of these at some point.
Here is that Matt Jensen video:

Yup, I've watched yours as well. Good stuff.
I like how they are giving more customization options for these like a knuckle bow and different pommel options. Just need to save up for one.

I started to make a comment but saw that I’d only be echoing meadmaker’s.

Customization options are good, although personally if I wanted a Messer with more hand protection I'd go all the way and get a Dussack instead. Landsknecth Emporium makes those too: landsknechtemporium.com/spl/353773/Dorothea-type-4A-DussackLooks great if you ask me.

Yes that Dussack is very appealing. I do like the more simplified aesthetics of the Messer though. I'd want the knuckle bow purely for the looks rather than actual protection, but realistically it still looks good without and I could save a bit by not worrying about additions. I'd want one of these for a cutter such as what you are doing rather than a show piece as reviews have shown they can be a bit rough anyways.
