Wow. Just wow. This new sword is a beauty. LKC Snow Peak
I wonder how it compares to the Gale Wind.
Specs wise, the SP has a slightly longer blade (+3cm) but a lesser total length of 96cm (-1cm) compared to the GW. Weight is basically identical. PoB is slightly further in the SP which is also 5mm/0.5mm broader and thicker at the tip.
I guess they both feel the same in handling due to the SP having a more distant PoB to compensate the extra blade length and weight of the tip, which also would grant a better blade presence and some additional bite on the cut.
I would like to know from someone who has it, possibly both.
Aesthetic is great here, quality same wrap and vegan leather scabbard, with a nice fuller on the blade, but I prefer the GW guard as far as the look goes.
