Do you know what famous general like Tang Dynasty Li Ching, Song Dynasty Marshal Yue Fei and Ming General QiJi Kwong, and the Qing founder Huang Taiji had in common? In fact, a total of 80 generations of Chinese generals and warriors had in common?
They live their lives never seen the Sha. The don't know what it was, they could not get Sha for their troops even if they wanted to.
For those who got their hands on a Sha will be the first generation of human beings after a 80 generations gap to have handled one, last seen actions in the 3 Kingdom period.
This famous movie chip, which critics said the costumes and armors and weapons were all wrong - except the Sha.

One thing the Sha in the movie clip did not get it 100% right is the "Pole" was not a pipe like round pole as shown in the movie. Real Sha was an edge weapon and the wooden staff is specially designed like a elongated hilt of a sword. It was diamond shape in cross profiles so the owner can feel the edge of the blade. We know that by examining the end cap of the pole, the hole in the pole was not round but diamond/almond shape. So the staff part is custom made to the Sha and the Sha blade had a long tang inserted into the staff, secure by cross pin much like a sword.

This looks similar to the Spetum in concept. More blade and smaller guard.

This is nice, but I'm really hoping to see the release of a ge (戈). That is a weapon which I've never seen a production replica of.
