One thing the Sha in the movie clip did not get it 100% right is the "Pole" was not a pipe like round pole as shown in the movie.

Real Sha was an edge weapon and the wooden staff is specially designed like a elongated hilt of a sword. It was diamond shape in cross profiles so the owner can feel the edge of the blade.

We know that by examining the end cap of the pole, the hole in the pole was not round but diamond/almond shape.

So the staff part is custom made to the Sha and the Sha blade had a long tang inserted into the staff, secure by cross pin much like a sword.

Looks really interesting. I have not been much into pole arms so far that the Han Sha really looks cool. I think I will get one eventually.
