The first one is my medicines Kukri made by Dragonfly Khukuri and Knives. The thought of this khukuri was a thought what a Dine' would want in a khukuri. So I thought of a simple, balanced kukri that was simple and easy—a bit of holy scripture that would have some protection on it. The handle has a Navajo star symbol on it that is on the handle of the knife. The knife contains a simple design with a small round choke on the blade for more delicate tasks. I wanted balance rather than madness. On it is the Navajo translation for Psalms 23:1. It's a personal favorite to me and something I tend to use. It is practically invincible, and for some reason, the Dragonfly Khukuri and Knives Designs to rust as much, which shocks me, but it makes me rely on the knife with less worry.
Credits to the man who helped with my designs Timothy McLaughlin and the maker Raju.
Here is a site that would allow you to get blades from the maker of this blade Blue Dragonfly Khukuri and knives: www.dragonflykhukuriandknives.com/
The other design I made is the Crusader's Khukuri. My thought with this khukuri was on what I thought a Crusader would carry at hand. I simplified the blade without the Cho, but you can choke with this blade. The Crusader's Khukuri's handle design is influenced by European knife handles and has a knife swell on it with a simple Anglo-Saxon weave design. The sheath is incredible; it is a merger of a European sheathe and Nepali sheath to allow you to carry the companion knives on the knives sheath. It has a more rustic yet more European feel of the blade. It even has straps on it. Sometimes, when I used this blade, it was mainly in a renaissance fair and had a more hunter feel. I am proud of this blade though I think it needs more TLC, minimal TLC, of course.
Remind you this is a design again by Purna Darnal.
