Nothing particularly useful to add to this conversation, other than thanks - the discussion made me realize the elbow pain I've been dealing with the past couple weeks isn't normal. Going over the movements I've been doing with the basic guards and cut drills I've been doing, I realized I was locking my arms a lot. Hopefully a week or two of rest will heal it up.

I'm glad that you tuned in. As I said in the beginning of the thread back off. Hopefully things will be back to normal in a couple weeks, don't rush it otherwise things will only get worse.

I wonder if it's okay to train other things? Two handed spear doesn't hurt my arm
Update: turns out I can shadowbox still without any pain. So my drills are still possible so there's that.
Boxing training should still help me get in sparring shape somewhat. Not as much as actual sparring, but better this than nothing

What you are asking would best be answered by a qualified physician. I don’t think anyone here can provide a truly accurate recommendation.

In my experience, a situation like that...you'd be fooling yourself and make it worse. That's what I did. Made it MUCH worse...

If you cannot get to a sports medicine specialist, definitely consult your GP. Joint issues should not be ignored, like ZH and some others say.
If it is tendinitis, that is more easily dealt with than an issue with the joint capsule or cartilage. But, it takes a while to work through, in my experience. And if you choose not to stop and go through the necessary remediation and healing, it can become a lifelong issue after a point.

Finally got that Glucosamine. 360 tablets worth lol. Any advice on what you take them with? I know a lot of supplements are better absorbed when paired with a certain kind of food or drink. Fat soluble I'm guessing? Imma research this a bit.
Looks like I'm gonna be seeing the results of this
