What color scheme is your scabbard and belt/handle? On different lights it seems to change. Looks amazing regardless. I’ve ordered one myself and am still deciding on colors. Also whether to stick with bronze or go with traditional mild steel. Or even blackened fittings. Can’t decide. Any thoughts?

Also whether to stick with bronze or go with traditional mild steel. Or even blackened fittings. Can’t decide. Any thoughts? The grip and belt are antiqued blue, and the scabbard is antiqued purple. I have considered getting an all-blacked-out version with the steel fittings but overall the uniqueness of the bronze won out in the end for me. This was sort of designed around the idea of a member of nobility or chivalrous knight, so I chose the colors accordingly. That makes sense. Choosing a theme is probably what I’m still undecided about. Classic with black handle and antiqued brown scabbard? All blacked out across the board and let the blade be the contrast? Bronze and….maybe ox blood? The blue and purple look great and match your regal theme. Very unique.

I like the new white velvet background in these recent photos! The texture of the fabric somehow absorb the light better, and the red cloth in your previous photo-op is a bit too bright and it warped the perception of the overall contrast of the fittings and the grip a little bit. I also like the fact that these new photos highlight the prominent central ridge on the blade. This has always been a stunning sword. Definitely the best among Lockwood's offerings.
