Tod cutler did the swords on the witcher See! There we go! I had heard that one. I watched the documentary about it. Pretty cool! But just like that, we have a list started ; ) I think Baltimore (Kerry, in particular) did the swords on pirates of the Carribean

Tod cutler did the swords on the witcher See! There we go! I had heard that one. I watched the documentary about it. Pretty cool! But just like that, we have a list started ; ) I can't make anyone read the 51 pages of threads at SFI but there is a lot you will miss in simply not skimming through that list. Yes, IMDB is the master list. What I often see are people suggesting and proposing, with offering little themselves. For instance, you could have started with Tod and the documentary but you chose instead to have others contribute. That's fine. Folk like Tony Swatton and Luke LaFontaine fleshed out POC prop information at SFI but you'd like me to find those threads for the curious. From the master list of an exant database, one can find more than they have time to read and my hunch is you'd love for others to write a synopsis for your perusal. Please drive up to the next window. Simple stuff, ya know? www.imdb.com/name/nm3136102/wtf use is data in one place? www.imdb.com/name/nm1044149/really, this is so useless www.imdb.com/name/nm2193716/Strange (not to me actually), no POC credits for Kerry www.imdb.com/name/nm6659269/Cheers GC

On the contrary, even if I seem contrary. You suggested a dedicated thread and I pointed out an entire subforum set that had flourished for more than a dozen years. SBG could set up a similar movie and movie sword subforum which could in turn have a pinned thread. One might even include more credits (IMDB) for Tod than Witcher. Or that Swatton worked with many films you started your list with
Every link I posted relates to your topic of interest and makers in the field. You wondered if there is a master link and then deny IMDB is one such with just those four I linked in my last post covering a lot more than scratching the surface. If you are having problems navigating a name or film in regards to weapons and armor, start just at Wiki and follow the links to IMDB. Or not.
Happy hunting GC

Points to edelweiss for basic research and guidance. Not in a jerky way, just a basic life skills way.

Are you asking who made the props or who makes movie accurate replicas (purchased the rights) to make them?
As far as making a thread, it's not that difficult. Once you specify what you're looking for, a few members will contribute what they know. You could then collate the information into a thread. If the administrators deem it of significant interest, they might even make it a sticky.

I imagine the purpose of this thread is just to have them all neatly listed, just in case anyone wanted all the information in one place. Not like we have anything interesting to talk about that this thread is taking views from anyway
If we can have billions of threads about rust removal, why not have one thread on this topic?
