Hey everyone! I found this knife on eBay and I'm curious to know what it is. I believe it's from Central Asia or maybe Uyghur.

I highly doubt it's Middle Eastern but I would like to see what people have to say about it.

Not one of the most common styles, and I don't readily find a lookalike. It's also a very common style of sheath for them.

Looks recent. I don't know when this style of sheath became common. They've been around since 1990, but the style might be older.

The best way to guess the age would be from the condition of the leather strap on the sheath. Hard to tell from the photo. Under 20 years old, I think.

mrstabby: Been thinking the same - but the person that set up the page might not be there anymore and old code gets messy when not maintained. Might be a "repair subscriptions, destroy function X, repair X, destroy Y" situation by now - would mean a total overhaul. Nov 18, 2024 7:29:27 GMT
