This is my first post, thanks for letting me post. A friend found this buried under about a foot of dirt. I don't know if it is a weapon or some kind of agriculture tool. It did have a sharpened edge on both sides & is fairly hefty being thicker in the middle. Here is a picture and a sketch of how it might of looked. It was found close to F& I War & CW, activity. However, there is some old farm homesteads remnants in the area too. Thanks , for any input.

Canted tang makes me think saber, but those aren't usually double-edged and seldom curve that sharply.
Interesting piece; I wonder if any of our members can figure it out.
