I'm in the same boat as you swordboy. Been looking for a functional pair of double-dao for over 2 years now. Also, don't buy that instructional video set. As I have it and it's quite useless in my opinion. They instructor doesn't really break the moves down for you. He just performs one long kata (or whatever the chinese word for it is) and then expects you to know it. I was flabbergasted afterwards and I'm not out of shape. So I'd think twice about it. Not to sound negative. I will be trying to help you as well because we're both looking for the same things.
