$245 seems a bit pricey for that sword to me. you might want to check out the KULT OF ATHENA they have some great prices on there Windlass swords

I believe he was pointing us to the MRL site because that's where new windlass models show up first. I don't know about that flemish sword. I like that they keep brainstorming and coming up with new designs, and that they are at least historically inspired, but none of their recent designs have grabbed my fancy (except the Erbach) That fantasy blade is pretty interesting. Pretty hilt, though not for me. The blade design made me blink a few times though

It's Altair's fabled sword from the video game Assassin's Creed for the XBOX 360 & PS3. SWEET! I wonder how functional it actually is. Sure they're offering a sharpening service for it and all, but..the blade does look a little on the narrow side, and windlass is renowned for having somewhat "whippy". blades. ~J~

On a blade that short, I wouldnt be too concerned about it being whippy. It's mostly on their longer blades that it presents much of a problem. I've got a Windlass with a 30" blade and it's actually quite stiff.
