When I bought my helmet, it was the first piece of medieval armour I've owned. I could tell a head butt or is I tackled a guy, jamming my head in his stomach, it would be way worst than using brass knuckles lol

I've heard of people in gutter fighting using their helmet as a bludgeon.

Armstreet makes good stuff. And very pretty for the price, too. I wear quite a bit of theirs (khatangu degel body armour, armoured boots, vambraces...

There are makers of armour that will protect better and makers of stuff that looks better and even a few that provide both.
But Armstreet manages to stay competitive in all 3 categories.

That said, I'm planning to get Darkwood Italian half-fingered gauntlets. Phenomenal protection combined with superior dexterity, and they still look good.
