I don't know of any such animal in current production; however, MRL does have this sword on blowout for $99 (shipping, obviously, would make it a bit above $100): www.museumreplicas.com/museumreplicas/detail.aspx?ID=1627. I'm assuming they still have one or two, but you'd have to contact them to be sure.

I've got one, and you're going to want to look into replacing the handle. The wood is not dense at all, it is very dry, and mine cracked in half within days of purchasing it. If you dont mind that, then go for it. 99 bucks isnt bad for a project blade.

You can also do some store searches for Hanwei on ebay. In america they come pretty affordable. Especially the practicals. They *can* be sharpened.
* with insane persistance and stubbornness.
In Australia the Global Gear G-series swords do go pretty cheap on ebay sometimes. Where R U?

Yeah the pommel is threaded. I took the hilt assembly apart and upon putting it back together, the grip cracked before the pommel was tightened fully (It still wiggled for heavens sake). So I didnt over-tighten it, the wood is just too frail and dry.
