Those look pretty nice! I am looking for my first Euro sword and i have heard good things about ATrims. I'll have to see if i can scrounge up the cash to nab one of these puppies!

I have one of the sharp arming swords and two examples of the sharp longswords that have been reground and "tuned up" by Gus. To me, these are an extreme upgrade over the standard version. I can't believe the prices! I was expecting them to be $50-100 more. Great job keeping them well under $300.

Is that what the 'tuned' means? They were sent to Gus himself for regrinding?

Yes Adam, Valiant Armoury sent the swords to Gus for the balancing and regrinding the blades. The swords came out great.

I don't believe they are, but who knows maybe we'll get lucky.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy! I am very excited about this. I'd been wanting one of the Practical's since they were announced, but hesitated after Mike's review that the grinding was a bit off. Now that they've been tuned......well you're gonna be shipping one to me soon enough.

Are the blunts regrounded and turned into sharp swords? I prefer the way the blunts look. Just curious.

The blunt swords are still blunt and the sharp ones are still sharp. They now have the perfect balance and weight.

Hey Guys, I got one of the Atrim reground arming swords back in the beginning of July after waiting about 2 months for it. I'll tell you it was worth the wait. I'm not a practiced cutter and this sword made me feel like a pro( notice I say feel like). The sword has beautiful balance and distal taper in the last half of the blade. The only downside was that the last half of the blade now has a slight secondary bevel on the edge unlike the rest of the lower half which has a nice appleseed style edge. But still the sword is great. And I lucked out because of a snafu with ordering online here at paul's store and some miscommunication between Valiant, Paul got me a reground for the original price of 215$. Even if you have to pay a little more I say its worth it. Just some input. Mark
