I was browsing and reading up for my next sword purchase and came across this picture of the discontinued windlass arbedo: Now look at the guard on strongblades warspike: I've also heard a lot of comparison between the blades strongblade use and the ones darksword use. On tang pictures I've noticed the similarity myself. Strongblade: Darksword: The scabbards are very similar as well... Anybody care to speculate? Have strongblade just been inspired by these designs and decided to outright copy them? Or have they bought up "leftovers" after the other makers decided to discontinue a product? (And a big thanks to those of you I stole the pics from)

Most of Strongblade's swords and daggers are sourced from India, as indicated in their FAQ. As such, there are some obvious similarities (and even some seemingly identical pieces) between the items they sell and items sold by Deepeeka, Windlass, and other Indian companies. No big mystery there. The similarities between the swords offered by Darksword and Strongblade have been noted and discussed before, but I think that's all I'll say for the time being.

Considering Darksword Blades are twice the price of strongblades, if not more, i think similiarities speak better to the latter than the former.
