Inspired by Desun and his Longship custom silvia's super smooth combat cuts on upper arm rolls, I gave it a try with my no remorse on combat cuts on upper arm roll.
And this is Desun's test cut, with Longship custom Silvia, on forearm and upper arm rolls.

If Densun is one of your students you taught him well.

That's amazing, did you sharpen the Silvia further or is that the default?

I wanted to find out if the combat cut mechanism (cuts starting with hand first) will work on a wide variety of swords. Thus I used all my longship swords to test combat cuts with them on upper arm difficulty target.
Reborn Nagamaki's left side cut needs a bit more body movement to allow the long hilt to move to. Giant Silvia's tip cut can severe 99% of the bone. The heavier sword like DS needs more velocity for left side cuts to work, requiring more body movement. The lighter swords like Tengu and No Remorse all worked fine. Combat cuts excel with them.

Very nice. I take it by "combat cut" you mean movement beginning at the hand to limit telegraphing?

Very nice. I take it by "combat cut" you mean movement beginning at the hand to limit telegraphing? Yes. Finishing cut is body first, stretching tendons and release, heavy cuts. Combat cut is hand first, body involvement limited to as little as possible to preserve mobility of lower limbs when in combat. So when the heavy sword and the long hilt sword failed to cut at certain direction, I've to put in a bit more body involvement to make room / speed for the cut to work.
