Just bought one off the SBG store, have to say I'm very pleased with the APOC line as my first was their Yatagan but I'll be selling that off soon the Brutus is more my type of sword.
And yes as has been said this is oddly named it IS more Greek then Roman in design, still a good sturdy short sword though.

I could do a review, but I must warn I don't do test cuts or anything fancy just a general overall feel of the weapon,I also don't pay any attention to sport or utility use of these kinds of blades as I see them the same as a gun-weapon first with sport, utility, and fun use far second. If anybody wants I can call up a few words about it,my pictures will suck as I lack a proper camera at the moment but I can take a shot.

Even just your general impressions on the fit and finish, edge, sheath fit, balance would be nice. But I can't imagine anyone resisting the urge to stab a couple of milk jugs or whatever before you stash it under the seat in your truck!

And I don't stash my swords I carry them...I live in a rural area and it's not unusual to see me with a handgun on my right and a sword dangling on my left, honestly that's why I've gone through so many swords and knives you get people who design and get made/make a sword or knife and play it up as some uber cool super commando weapon and if you actually carry the thing...it sucks,or the sheath sucks and I don't want to pay for a replacement,or the whole package just sucks period.

And now the yataghan is on its way to me, so I'll be able to give you all the (apparently) first cutting video of it.
