This is the tang of a Windlass longsword and it is slightly bent to the right. It is also slightly rolled to one side and not completely flat. It came from the factory like this, but as I've now dissembled it the vendor wont take it back. Thought to be fair I didn't know the tang and shoulder was condition before dissembling. The shoulder of the blade is also a bit funky as you can tell. Any ideas as how I could straighten this out before making and fitting a new grip? It has been suggested to just blow torch it and then hammer away. All advice is greatly appreciated! Attachments:

Maybe it's because I'm looking at this on my phone but that doesn't look too bent. You could make a new handle where the channel for the tang follows the bend? Put some epoxy in there when you reassemble it to keep everything in place.

I think a large pair of channel locks could straighten out the rat tail, or perhaps you could slide a small pipe over the rat tail and use that as a lever. Could you drill the tang for rivets, or do you feel like it is too narrow?
Your tang is pretty smooth, so if I were to epoxy it into a handle, I would want to rough it up and cut some ridges in it with a file. The obvious problem with epoxy is it is permanent, requiring total destruction of the handle and a lot of cleaning to the tang, no easy disassembly.
