It could be me, but you seem to be checking the blade more than normal. Have you a concern with bending?

Because longer swords would suffer more stress and bending during a cut that didn't go through. I was worrying since 2 of the big swords here ain't mine. LOL. But they were all made with the better spring steel (better in relative to the default spring steel they used) and held up to the test very well. They're also easier to deburr since they have higher hardness than the default spring steel or T10 mono-heat treated. I spent way less time to form the apex than with their other steel choices. So I'm satisfy with the nodachi / nagamaki. I worried that mine wouldn't cut very well due to the narrowness near the tip, but it did cut pretty well in the end.
