Indian talwar (or tulwar). These khaki canvas covered scabbards are usual for end-of-19th century and early 20th century military talwars. Some Indian cavalry units used talwars, as late as WW1, while others used British swords (often Indian variants of the British patterns). That "1910" on the blade could be the year of manufacture.
These swords are often cheaply-made and of rather mediocre quality, but are interesting swords anyway.
These usually have a round disc pommel; this has been removed from this, possibly in its original military career, and possibly by a later owner.
