I just wanted to pass on a site for excellent leather gauntlets. www.foxcreekleather.com. I just recently purchased a pair of the elkhide gauntlets and they are, without a doubt, the best gauntlets I've worn to date. A bit pricey, but definately worth it.

They look very nice www.foxcreekleather.com/mensdeerskin.phtml (all gloves) Sizing to XXL is encouraging but I still have troubles sometimes. I need a 14 and sometimes XXL just aren't. I have been liking summer weight flight gloves for more than a decade now. Leather palms and they breath through the Nomex. The price actually looks right if they last. Cheers Hotspur; elk can be nice and buttery supple

I have nothing but the best to say about Fox Creek Leathers. I've bought a good bit of motorcycling gear from them and it's all first rate, made in the USA stuff. The quality of the leather and, especially, the stitching can't be beat for anything in their price range.
I hadn't thought of mentioning it before, but I use my pair of their deerskin riding gloves when I'm backyard cutting, and they are very comfortable and durable. Customer service is top notch too. I don't easily recommend merchants, but these guys are worth checking out if your looking for leather goodies.
