Reproduction French M1822 Light Calvary Sabre?

Hello and thank you all for the wealth of information this forum holds. I'm new to the hobby of sword collecting, but having come from a background in firearms collecting which has a wealth of dedicated forums and books I'm finding it interesting how vast the topic is and how challenging it is to find information. Still the journey is a large part of the fascination to the hobby.
Now for my question, a local online auction site has listed the following sword. And my gut tells me it's a poor reproduction am I correct or is it possibly genuine?

What puts me off about this sword is that the detailing looks too poorly done to be authentic:
And this seam in the leather looks totally incorrect for a serious side arm / officers sword:
The vendors description doesn't give me any confidence either:
Are their other alarm bells that I've missed or am I completely wrong and this is a legit sword?

This is a very rear collectors piece almost 200years old
Crafted by d'Armement de Chatellerault 1822
Regiment de Chevau-Legers-Lanciers
Beautifully crafted Sabre with markings C, and H for the controllers Chourad, Clemenceau and Jean-Marie Brenier at the
Coulaux and cie Klingenthal. Manufacture d'Armement de Chatellerault Off de Caval Légère Modèle 1822 Ent A Treuille
The elegant frame is golden, decorated with laurel branches on the cap, rosettes and florets at the top of the main branch, chiseled palms on the sides of the side branches and a palm leaf with acanthus leaf on the tray.
The Blades edge is engraved with
Coulaux and cie Klingenthal Manufacture d'Armement de Chatellerault Aout 1892 Off de Caval Légère Modèle 1822 Ent A Treuille
As with all of Napoleon's Imperial Swords it was their mark of distinction
She is the heiress of the Municipal Guard of Paris, created in October 1802 by Napoléon Bonaparte .... in 1813, after the coup d'état of General Malet, it was replaced by the Imperial Gendarmerie of Paris ... of which it keeps the Montmorency blade attributed to the gendarmes of Elite under the Empire.
The 1822 model of light cavalry was used on horseback hunters, hussars, spearmen, horse artillery and will follow all these riders in the European and overseas conflicts: North Africa, Crimea, Mexico ... for nearly 150 years old.
The French Cavalry, artillery and infantry participated in numerous battles and campaigns.
From his first thundering charges on the plains of Italy to his grand charge at Leipzig,
It was Napoleon who made it as an effective force which would have parity with any enemy
1812 the French cavalrymen were victorious over everyone they encountered on level above regiment. At Borodino they even captured a redoubt, a feat never repeated by any other cavalry.
