I like the design. Lots of good elements on there, and coffin grips rule.
Interesting stuff from the maker. I looked around after following your link. The interpretation of the sandbar knife looks pretty good.

Also, nice work on the configuration of the pins in the grip. Sometimes those can get too busy. Not so here. Just right.

Can you explain this a bit further?
Tang construction: Hidden tang/ partial tang
The appearance from the picture looks like a basic exposed tang with slabs for the grip.

Cheers GC This is a partial tang, What you are seeing as the exposed tang is essentially similar to the framed tangs on a historical shamshir or yataghan. Thank you I am familiar Cheers GC
