www.ebay.com/usr/gz-khukuri-houseI am curious if anyone knows about this company here? I am thinking of getting another khukuri and I want to see if anyone knows about them. From, Eris Pinto

Never heard of them, but they look to be on par with every other kukri shop.
They seem brand new, with little feedback, so I'd consider any purchase a gamble...

I bought mine from www.thekhukurihouse.com/ about 8 years ago. I sent them some AWFUL concepts (see below) and $250 USD later I had this. I feel they did an amazing job with what I provided. My criticism would be that the handle is a little wide for my liking (I have slight hands) and I found the point was pretty soft. I would end up bending it during some wood chopping ( fairly abusive, really) so I had to redo it with a file. All in all, I would say do not pay for a custom - at their regular prices the value is excellent. For $250 I would rather have got a basic Hanwei, but for $75-$150 I would have been extremely satisfied with the quality. ** EDIT ** I forgot to mention the scabbard. It had crossbands and side 'gutters' like a gladius (is there not a better word than gutters?). Anyhow it looked lovely, but all the metal was simply glued or poorly sautered on. The scabbard bands fell off, then the gutters... I am currently in the process of reworking it. Do yourself a favor and invest in a stock blade that looks durable and a simple scabbard - the type you can't mess up.

I got my three from there also. Their prices 15 years or so ago were better. Mine are from the standard production and so much to my liking I would not pay more for a custom jobby. I figure they know what they are doing much more so than an outsider like me telling them what to do.

\ Well I have from KHHI I just used and it is called the Medicine Kukri I wanted it to be a picture kukri but then...I started to use it. Its a useful tool. It was sort of like an idea for a survival kukri-ish but that was nice. It has a Native Medicine wheel on it, a rough one. I have a bit of things going on with it...it is a beautiful work horse and makes short work of shrubs and saplings. It almost like it has a soul of its own with it being used for hard work. I might even consider getting the king Priviti kukri from KHHI eventually.

That is indeed a nice looking kukri and should be put to work as you are doing. It can take it.

I am artist, I sort of designed it to look good and function. When I made it, it was the thought of what a vigilante hero would use and what could be used in survival. I sort of...wanted that was useful. Also...beautiful.

My hat is off to you, it has beautiful lines. I have no idea of the statistics of course but that is one beautiful kukri. Only one small knife, or is that the so called sharpener that doesn’t really sharpen? Although I’ve used them to repair a rolled edge. I use the small knife more than a kukri.

Well the blade is 14 ish inches with about a 6 inch handles. The blade is a utility knife for smaller tasks. For now I plan to hike with the medicine kukri. But I designed it based of more traditional kukri but the groves and finger holes were for the grip. Trust me...this design is really grippy.
