That was more than a little rambling. Swordsage's reviews would definitely benefit from an outline, or at least notes on the points he wants to cover.

It seems like his chief criticism of the Heavenly Horse dao is it's blade length. That seems like an odd detail to base a recommendation (or in this case condemnation) on.

The long blade length of this single-handed sword is one the very reasons I ordered one. I hope that LK Chen Sword is in a position where they able to ship my order before long. I'm excited to experience firsthand the difference between these historically proportioned swords, compared to the common jian and dao reproductions we see in the United States.

While the famous cossack saber have a curved blade, it does have a rather long blade and single hand and might handle similar to cavalry Han Dao.

mrstabby: Been thinking the same - but the person that set up the page might not be there anymore and old code gets messy when not maintained. Might be a "repair subscriptions, destroy function X, repair X, destroy Y" situation by now - would mean a total overhaul. Nov 18, 2024 7:29:27 GMT
