I've debated about posting this topic for awhile, I think many of us here likely grew up reading Howard and Burroughs and perhaps cherished every $2.95 paperback we could pick up that had a Frazetta cover .... So, what's your favorite Frazetta print ? Here's my overall # 1 favorite : " Frost Giants "

I had Frost Giants on my wall growing up! So that was definitely a favorite. I like this one too: I have to say that Frank Frazetta also was one of the best artists of the female form--he knew how to draw a woman!

Frost Giants, Kane on the Golden Sea, all of them were great. I had the pleasure of visiting the Frazetta Museum 30 years ago in East Stroudsburg. You could spend hours just looking at each painting.

Okay, but it was a painting before it became a statue.

Not sure I could ever pick a favorite. Used to have three what might have been called ‘coffee table’ books with his drawings and paintings. He was my favorite artist of that genre. Boris was good but too ‘clean’, I like Frazetta’s dark grittiness better.

First album I ever bought. 100% because of the album cover.

I do like Frazetta's takes on Conan. Strong, but built for practical strength, not a body builder. Conan moved like a panther, not an ox. Frazetta was also not afraid to cover him in scars, as befits a veteran of as many life and death struggles as Conan. I'm still waiting for a decent portrayal of Conan in film/television. Conan was strong, and fast, and skilled, but he was defined by his wits. Not book learning, but raw intelligence and intuition.

I don't have a hard favorite. Outlaw of Torn, Death Dealer, Brooklyn Dreams, Jaguar God and Golden Girl are all up there for me.

I think that Conan would be excellent source material for long format TV. HBO, Netflix etc.
