I was asked to make a safety video demonstrating the safety tips in the sword safety 101 thread.

Thanks Rick !! Your video has the potential to help prevent a lot of hurt if those who take the time to watch and listen will heed what you have to say. Karma 2 U.

Great vid, Rick. Thanks for going to the trouble of putting all that together. Everyone who joins this forum should pay you homage for that one.

It is good.
Now, let's make a comedy, demonstrating what not to do. ;D

Heh, heh. Normally I would volunteer to film. But in those kinds of things, even the camera man gets bloody!

Stizz, Jay and Mike, thanks for the good words fellas.
As to the comedy vid, I think Brenno might be up for some "wet work". He could get Paul to help him, they're on the same continent.

Rick,
Perhaps you could also post this to the Safety 101 thread here in the General board as well as in the cutting vids section?

Great Video, RicWilly. Plus one for you, Mate. I am up for "wet work" if someone with a camera, and another with the knowledge comes to Oklahoma to do a comedy video. I would do the "What not to do," being I am little experinced and the knowledgeable person could do the "What to do." Early eighties? You are older than I thought unless you got that tattoo as a preteen child. By the way, you sound like you are originally from a lot farther south than South Indianna. <.< Just a thought. Just a Thought. >.>

Great work on the video. I was a tad bit impulsive when I was cutting with the kukri(Not THAT much, but enough), and well, look what happened to me. Thanks for putting the video up. +1 from me, and my hand.

Thanks, Draxel, Master and Nurow. Your words and karma are appreciated.
I like the idea, Debbie, I'll leave it to the mods to do with it what they will.
Thanks, Tiger. My drivers license says I'm 51. I right across the bridge from Kentucky and used to spend my summers in Nashville Tennessee as a child, may account for the accent.
Thanks for the karma, Sal, glad your doing well.
Thanks, Raven, I have to give credit to Swordboy, the video was his idea.
