So here are a few shots of my decent size Collection at present(and def. not all of it) these are not properly displayed but in Semi-storage, perhaps,in a family parlor room- until better accommodations can be made (hopefully in the near future)... many are partial obscured at the moment(lacking full display b/c of adequate room) but these current pics might serve to offer a taste of what's better to come.....

I cant figure out how to make the thread Title Updated w/Date- I tried as an 'Edit"- but it did not take but.. here are updates with more proper laid out display( though just to photograph for this thread) not an Actual/permanent Display just yet, I have some redecorating /renovations going on in the house for a while( including formerly-permanent Displays of my older stuff) - but it will be done a little while down the road.. ---First up "shorty's" (knives and daggers)- a few could be considered short swords( about half are long discontinued/rare examples)- all featured are MRL/Windlass , I believe. If I can try to match listing with the Lineup in each photo ( if the end result posts the way it should ) In the first two pix Bottom row Left to Right/ 1. 'New York Bowie' based on an original by "Rose" of NY./2. Quillion Dagger w/nicely Vertically grooved leathergrip./3.'Mountain Man Bowie'/4. Brass-Hilted Scottish Dirk based on Pieces ca.1680-1720/5. Viking Seax/6.'old' coustille/7.churray/kyberknife/8.D-Guard Bowie/9. In third pic Long Churray/kyber-next to shortKyber, you should be able to tell. and on far left 'Cobra Steel' Falcata-- top two Pic one and two are 1.'Oak-Leaf' dagger and 2. 'soldiers'? dagger-- third pic again single at top 1.'RAven-claw' fighting knife Hopefully that all comes out well- with little editing, and more to follow later. Stay tuned ad sharp

Mok: I do not think I tried that method.. I will go back and be sure to do so (is that most individuals usually make that Title- Update?) --- Thank you for the info.
Harrybeck: I hadn't planned on trading anytime just yet for the brass-Hilted Dirk- but I would certainly consider it-- --what did you have to trade?

Two new sets added (the picture quality could be better) and while Ive been getting a fairly decent hang of the Photo Editing tool (I've been using "LunaPic") Im still not quite adept as I'd like to be yet- therefore the scaling was more difficult to get just right this time this this batch of photos(presumably b/c the image of longer Objects/swords- get expanded or compressed slightly differently) I tried to manually adjust it quite a bit but still didnt get it quite right(will have to try again later)-- in essence some of the Single-HAnd swords- got there grips Lengthened and some of the Longer(handandaHalf) grips of some pieces got shortened in some pix than they 'really' are.
--1st group: Straight swords(left two-images) left -right-1.Windlass Classic medieval sword-2.Windlass baselard-3.'Old'WindlassCoustille-4.Early MRL/DelTin Hybrid(so I'm Told) may have been named "Northern European Sword" originally-A rare and unique piece Long out of Production from the Earlier 90's based on a Single OriginalPiece now In the RoylArmouries Leeds and featured In Oakeshotte's book 'Records of the Medieval Sword' As Example"XIV.2"-5.Windlass 'Italian Short Sword' I think was the original Model name.-6.another Earlier Museum Replicas Limited/Del Tin Hybrid "YinYang sword' I think was the Original Name. A hand and a half Military style Jian. Unique also and only one in this group 'actually' with a long (for one or two hand grip). --2nd Group: (right sided Images) Left-Right-1. Windlass Fantasy Imperium Gladius-2.Windlass Fantasy "Warwolf"-3.Windlass "Raptor"- 4. Windlass Fantasy"Barbarian Sword". --Questions or Comments welcome-- More coming soon.

Im still on the hunt for a few more counterparts to the Warwolf Ex:"The Eye of Balor" and"Evil's BAne". Hopefully they will mozzy onto my realm in the near future;)

What's too bad--from my nostalgiac end--is just how many MRL designs have bv een "lost" from two to three decades ago.
I don't need to own them all, and a great many I wouldn't want to, but just looking at old catalog pics would bring back many fond memories.
There *has* to be somewhere Windlass has archived old media. Man, if they came out with a nice thick book compiling all their old, "dead" pieces, I bet it would sell quite well!
