Always loved the Joan of Arc history (ie my avatar), this movie, LeeLee and this sword. Have been trying to find out who made it for the movie...keep looking at the credits , but guess I'm missing it or it is not listed. custom-smith John Lundemo did a beautiful rendition of the Sword of St. Catherine sometime back. It would be grand to have a copy of this one made....it just strikes a chord with me. Cheers & thanks.... billiam

Did she really use a sword that big?
Sorry, I don't know who can help you.
I think you might want to specify what you want to do with the sword, so people can send you in the right direction.
Good Luck Debbie
PS your avatar pic is gone

If I personally wanted to recreate that sword as a high-quality, functional sword...
I would probably try to find an ATrim 1313 on the used market (the picture looks closest to a 1313, but there are a few others that are close as well). Then I'd contract with Dan Dickinson to rework the guard and pommel, do an enhanced grip, and engrave or etch the blade. And maybe add a scabbard and suspension to the project if you can find pictures.
Just my initial thoughts for a solution that wouldn't be exorbitantly expensive...

I thought that myth had been laid to rest. A sword can't cut a sword.

I thought that myth had been laid to rest. A sword can't cut a sword. It was innuendo Ric . The best version of that sword I have ever seen was one made by Jim Hrisoulas, had actually stars pattern welded into the steel, pretty frikkin sweet. Sorry, I don't know who made that sword in that film.

While not at all historically accurate, that sword isn't very big and probably wouldn't have weighed much over 3 lbs.
