Pommel Marker Musings

At some point in the year 2020 CE, I will be receiving an Albion Munich (with half-wire wrap, black grip, and blackened fittings). I have been contemplating what I will set in the pommel recesses.
In my similarly colored Sovereign, I used a pair of coins I purchased as part of a set of goetic seals from a Kickstarter campaign (the coins used were the seal and pentacle of Solomon).
I still have a bunch of the demonic seal coins I could use for the Munich, but I don't want the two swords to seem too same-y, and I like to think I'm more imaginative than that.
So, an idea I'm currently knocking about in my brain meat is to find a translucent material, perhaps one with adularescent properties, and set it backed with a glow-in-the-dark paint or epoxy. Something like a pair of round moonstone cabochons, and a white glow-in-the-dark paint/epoxy to back-light them could turn out pretty nicely.

Does anyone have any opinions or personal experience with doing something like the pairing I'm contemplating? If so, please share your thoughts.
