Looks fun though. Likely made for display or stage.

Modern homemade replica. Looks like it was made without power tools, though; I see a lot of coarse file marks but no grinder or belt sander patterns. It's fairly crude work all around, with no effort put into the finish at all, and was likely artificially aged in part as an attempt to cover that.

Thanks for all the info. I just picked up the sword because I thought it was interesting. The blade was hammered out and is quite wavy, really hard to get a good photo. I have no idea where it came from. Clearly someone put a bit of work into making it. I picked it up at a local auction for $35 at a local auction and was planning on dumping it on ebay, or I may just hang it on the wall.
