The fit and finish looks to be wonderful. But, since the seller said nothing about the steel/functionality of the blade, it is probably just an expensive wallhanger.

Yes, I noticed that too. And it seems that most of his fantasy knives used 420 J2 stainless steel. So it is quite possible that this one was made of a similar steel. But, it is different - not my style by a long shot - and expensive. I guess it's value is found with Hibbens collectors.

A little too wild for me, but I can appreciate the many hours of skilled metal working that went into that. I envy anyone who can take a soulless piece of metal and force it into a shape that only existed in their minds eye.

it's like the Frostmourne sword .. big, mean, clumsy and deadly sword .. I believe it's a expensive wallhanger .. but amazing ..
