Late Roman "deco" Spatha with bone handle.  My other blunts are sparring swords or blunt "battle ready swords", this is my only real dedicated wallhanger. |

Yeah, but a sword's a sword, right? It's got a blade and a handle and it looks cool, how bad could it be?  But also, some decorative SLOs can totally legit be quite pricey. Look at some of the more popular out-of-production Kit Rae stuff, for example. The thing about it is, to make any sense of things, you basically have to think of them not as swords but as a very particular kind of collectible figurines... |

Oh yeah, wallhangers. All of mine are kinda buried right now, but I have something like four three-piece katana set things on top of my entertainment center, plus probably six other single "swords" between the gun safe and fun cabinet. Those are the ones I can't really get to eight now...
